  • Remote evaluation

    #1. Remote Evaluation

Contact us with information about your situation, Call, Text, email. The more we know, the more accurate our cost range estimate will be. Preliminary costs are always presented as an estimated Range. By the time we get to your appointment, circumstances may have changed. So, we are prepared to do more, or less than what you originally had in mind. But we will give you a price range, up-front, to guide your decisions.

    PRICING GUIDE

  • Scheduling

    #2. Scheduling

We schedule a time to come and perform Our Services. The appointments are usually 1 or 2 days before your extermination.

There is a minimum deposit of $350 collected during Scheduling. Deposits are invoiced thru emailed.. You will be sent a receipt & confirmation of the appointment once the deposit is received.

  • On Site

    #3. On-Site Plan

At Appointment Time, we walk thru the rooms, identifying the Affected areas. We want to aggressively prepare the Primary Affected areas. Typically, this would be the Bedroom, its Closets, and the adjacent spaces; (Hall / Linen Closet). There may be other affected areas; usually the main sitting areas in the Living room, Coat Closet, or another sleeping area. Aggressive Preparation means, we assume the bugs could be nesting, or hiding anywhere in that area. We want to remove or expose all their favorite hiding spots, and make all areas accessible for the exterminator. Tell us your exterminator’s plan. Then we decide on how to get ready for a successful extermination. We will calculate the tentative pricing.

➤ There is a Waiver to be Signed & Then we Get to Work.

  • #4 Getting Started

    Now the work begins.

Please have someone stay on-site who can make decisions about what Stays -or- Goes, & who can point-out items needing Special Handling

During this whole process, we will be watching for bugs. We may do some spot spraying w/ rubbing alcohol* if we find a cluster. We’ll let your know if we uncover something of concern. Half-way thru the work, we will tally-up the bags, and give you a fresh update on the pricing.

All the Preparation and Organizing work is built-in to the cost of the Bagged-up items.

Once all is done, we review the total cost, and email you an invoice while we are still at the property.

Please be prepared to make electronic payment of the final invoice while we are still on-site.

  • Washables

    #5. Sort Washables

    Bedding, Clothing, Rugs, Towels, Curtains, etc;

Laundering is the most efficient and effective way to treat items that typically get “washed & folded”: T-Shirts, Sweat-shirts, Under-garments, Socks, Folded pants, Towels, Linens…. any fabrics that usually get Washed, Folded, then stored on a Shelf or Drawer.

All washables will be removed from the Primary areas. They will be bagged, tagged & removed for Bedbug Laundering back at our facility.

The Bedbug Laundering is heat Washed in 120 degrees water, & then Dried at 145 degree.

Fabrics that can not be Laundered in this way, will be separated for Heat Treatment, Dry Cleaning, or Handwashing.

    See the Next Section

    “Non-Washables” >>>

  • Non Washables

    #6. Non-Washables

If it can not be “washed”, and your don’t want it “sprayed” there are still answers. Book-bags, Handbags, Suitcases, Shoes, Boots, Hats, “Fine- Fabrics”, etc. These can all be Heat Treated.

Some items will need Dry-Cleaned, or Hand-washed (we will check the Label), But most Non-Washables can be treated in our Heat Chamber.

The Heat Chamber is just how it sounds. It is a 12’ x 6’ room that gets heated-up. (132 degrees for 90 minutes.) The Chamber is large enough to fit moderate sized furnishings; Love-seat, Night-stand, Chairs, dressers, medium rugs, etc. We have successfully treated electronics; TVs, Radios, Game consoles, etc.

Most Fine Fabrics can be Heat treated. Some can not. We will check the Garment’s Care Label to decide the right method of treatment; Most “Dry-cleaning” garments are already “Clean”. So, they just need “Treated”. The Heat Chamber is the most economical way to handle most non-washables. Most “Hanging” items can go into the Heat Chamber.

  • Purge & Organize

    #7 Purge & Organize

This is a good time to thin-out Clutter. Bedbugs love the folds of cardboard boxes. So, cardboard has to go. You may decide that some boxes & their contents should just get thrown-out. But, some boxes may have items of value. So, we bring plastic storage bins for the things that you are keeping. All “keeper” items are gathered into plastic bins, and the cardboard is thrown out. Knick-knacks, some Books, Small Pictures, Alarm Clocks, Small Electronics, etc. can be gathered into the plastic bins. The bins are spray with Pepermint Oil solution, to direct the bugs away from the contents of the bins. Then the bins can be left on-site for the Exterminator to spray around. Or the bins can go off-site to our Heat Chamber. These bins that we use for Organizing are, then, yours to keep.

  • Special Care

    #8. Special Care Items

Separating Special-Care items: Jewelry, Breakables, Photographs, Keepsakes, Documents, etc. Please separate and move these things out of harms way before we arrive. If you need, we will give you a plastic bin for these items when we arrive. Medications go into the Refrigerator, or taken with you. *for Heat Exterminations; Comestics, Flammables & Temperature sensitive items are removed, or refrigerated. House plants can go in the bathtub, or be removed.

  • Disposal

    #9. Disposal

We will dispose of the “Debris” items separated during Purging. Unwanted furnishings, or belongings can, also be removed for disposal.

Bed, Dresser, Sofa, Lounge Chair, rugs, stuffed animals, etc …. or General Clutter.

We will dispose of whatever you decide.

  • Preparation Set-up

    #10. Preparation Set-up

Your Exterminator should have a Preparation Check List. The Lists vary, but generally, they are similar. Everything gets moved away from the walls. Boxsprings, Mattresses & Cushions are set leaning-up. Drawers are emptied & opened. Closets are emptied. Wall Hangings are removed. Electronics are un-plugged, etc. We will Vacuum around the perimeter of the room, and under the previous foot-print of the furnishings. Share the Checklist with us, and we will make sure all of their requirements are met.

  • Laundry Return

    #11. Laundry Return

    Post-Extermination;

Laundry, & Non-Washables will be delivered back to you… Where & When you are ready.

Turn-around time can be within 72 hours. (Rush requests are considered).

Your extermination plan may take several visits. So, If you are not ready, we can hold your items up to 30 days - no extra charge.

Laundry will be returned Cleaned & Folded, in Clear, Sealed Bags.

  • Post Treatment

    #12 Post Treatment Set-up

After extermination is complete, & you are ready to reclaim your life, we can help you get re-organized. Re-setting furniture; Wiping hard surfaces. Hanging curtains & pictures. Putting clothes away.

Whatever you need to get back to normal.
